The Sherwod RM5 Ice Hockey Elbow Pads - Senior are the most affordable elbow pads available in the market right now.

These pads have a nice lightweight feel. That wraps the arm resulting in a comfortable fit that does not have any segment breaks in protection.  Sherwood has also given this pad a layer of foam around the elbow and forearm shell, to provide additional protection.

The Bicep guard features a thin peice of plastic reinforcement for added protection to the outside of the bicep.  The rest of the bicep and tricep guard is a single density foam.  the elbow pad could have been reinforced in these areas too, however that would take away from the lightweight feel.
