The CCM U+ Pro hockey shoulder pads are the top of the line shoulder pads from CCM offering a great advanced to pro level protection. CCM has used a multi-panel design on the U+ Pro shoulder pads attached by stretch zones from increased mobility without sacrificing protections.
The CCM U+ Pro shoulder pads are the only shoulder pads in the CCM line and one of the only shoulder pads on the market with EPP foam. EPP foam an extremely light foam that can absorb a lot of energy. EPP foam is typically found in advanced helmets. CCM has used a unique design on their shoulder pads for the clavicle and shoulder caps. Essentially CCM has used an oversized clavical guard that overlaps the shoulder cap. This offers additional protection to front and back hits and allows for good mobility.
CCM has used stretch zones and elastic to attach almost every panel making up the U+ Pro shoulder pad. This includes the shoulder caps, biceps, and clavicle guard, giving the shoulder pads great mobility. Although, that pads still have a solid feel and good fit.
