The CCM U+ 09 Shin Guards offer solid protection with a good value. The CCM Fit 09 shin guard features vents throughout the shin and knee shell for increased air circulation. 

CCM has also to continued to use their Cross-over strapping system which is made up of 1" velcro elastic straps resulting in a locked-down fit. The liner is split into two pieces. The low liner is removable, with strategic segments. The upper portion of the knee donut has a unique design that is built as part of the thigh guard.  This piece is then connected with elastic straps. This design allows the knee donut stay with the knee throughout movement helping increase protection.
